Hello my overzealous friend, thank you for your part in my experiment. It was a fun learning experience for me. Hopefully now that OpenSea has hidden it all your wallet is back to normal.

I don’t know if I’d call myself grey hat… maybe one of those bell hats the joker card guy wears.

You’re right that EtherVirus was my project, but I didn’t send it to you, that must have been someone else. EtherVirus wasn’t intended to be at all spammy, but rather participation in the game was supposed to be spread organically. It doesn’t have any of the spammy mechanics of send-backs, although admittedly it can be a little confusing if you don’t know what it is.

Anyway, it has apparently been hidden by OpenSea now anyway, so I think it will be dead in a few days.

As for those two projects, nope neither of them are mine. AnAllergyToAnalogy is my username here, on Discord, and also on GitHub (where all my Ethereum projects are pubic). Although I really have no way of proving this, I can assure you that if I’m involved in a project, I will either admit to it, or make it impossible for anyone to know. I don’t see the point in doing things by halves.

Take care and may all your NFTs go 10x
